Privacy policy

This policy explains how EverPrime handles personal data on EverPrime Edu, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000. EverPrime is the data fiduciary.
1. What we collect
- Account: your email address and, if you give it, your name.
- Purchases: the course, amount, Razorpay order and payment IDs and payment status. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay and never reach us.
- Use: courses you can open, lessons and notes opened, sign-in times and the devices you use (to enforce device limits and calculate refund eligibility).
- Technical: IP address, browser and server logs, kept for security.
- Messages you send us.
2. Why we use it
- To sign you in with one-time codes and give access to what you bought.
- To process payments and refunds through Razorpay.
- To protect content from sharing and misuse.
- To answer support requests and improve courses.
- To meet tax and accounting duties.
3. Consent
We process your data with the consent you give at sign-up, and for uses the law allows without fresh consent, such as keeping payment records. You can withdraw consent by asking us to delete your account.
6. How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account exists and delete it within 30 days of a deletion request, except payment records kept as tax law requires (normally 8 years). Logs are kept up to 90 days.
7. Security
We use HTTPS, one-time sign-in codes and restricted database access. If a breach affects your data, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.
8. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, nominate someone to act for you, and raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer (see Contact); if not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
9. Children
If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must consent on your behalf.
10. Changes
We will post changes here with a new date.
